Monday, the Dow rose 511.37 points (1.58%) to close at 32,928.96, the Nasdaq rose 146.47 points (1.16%) to close at 12,789.48 and the S&P 500 rose 49.45 points (1.20%) to close at 4,166.82. The Russell 2000 rose 10.35 points (0.63%) to close at 1,647.29, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 472.72 points (1.14%) to close at 41,773.52.

The 10-year Treasury note fell 4/32, bringing the yield to 4.890%. The 30-year Treasury bond fell 26/32 , bringing the yield to 5.051%.
