Wednesday, the Dow dropped 943.24 points (3.43%) to 26,519.95, the NASDAQ fell 426.48 points (3.73%) to 11,004.87, and the S&P 500 lost 119.65 points (3.53%) to finish at 3,271.03. The Russell 2000 closed 47.43 points (2.98%) lower at 1,543.28, and the Wilshire 5000 plunged 1,195.85 points (3.41%) to 33,837.21. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 1/32, with its yield up to 0.780%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond was down 2/32, increasing its yield to 1.562%.
