Friday, the Dow rose 1.81 points (0.01%) to close at 34,947.28, the Nasdaq rose 11.81 points (0.08%) to close at 14,125.48 and the S&P 500 rose 5.78 points (0.13%) to close at 4,514.02. The Russell 2000 rose 24.01 points (1.35%) to close at 1,797.77, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 112.90 points (0.25%) to close at 45,312.96.

The 10-year Treasury note was unchanged, bringing the yield to 4.440%. The 30-year Treasury bondfell 1/32, bringing the yield to 4.592%.

For the week ending November 17, the Dow rose 1.94%, the Nasdaq rose 2.37% and the S&P 500 rose 2.24%. The Russell 2000 rose 5.42%, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index finished 2.54% higher.
