Friday, the Dow rose by 222.93 points (0.80%) for a 28,004.89 close. The NASDAQ gained 61.81 points (0.73%) to reach 8,540.82, and the S&P 500 was up by 23.83 points (0.77%) to finish at 3,120.46. The Russell 2000 inched upward by 7.27 points (0.46%) to 1,596.45, and the Wilshire 5000 gained 231.27 points (0.73%) to reach 31,752.02. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 1/32, increasing its yield to 1.836%, and the price of the 30-year Treasury bond was also down 1/32, increasing its yield to 2.309%. WEEK’s WORTH: For the week ended November 15, the Dow rose 1.17%, the S&P 500 was up 0.89%, and the NASDAQ gained 0.77%. the Russell 2000 ticked downward by 0.15%, and the Wilshire 5000 was up 0.78%.
