Wednesday, the Dow lost 218.45 points (0.91%) to finish at 23,664.64, the NASDAQ was up 45.27 points (0.51%) at 8,854.39, and the S&P 500 closed 20.02 points (0.70%) lower at 2,848.42. The Russell 2000 was virtually unchanged at 1,263.01, and the Wilshire 5000 decreased 173.45 points (0.60%) to 28,736.42. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 3/32, increasing its yield to 0.698%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 1 29/32, bringing its yield up to 1.401%.
