Thursday, the Dow was up 5.17 points (0.02%) to 23,930.15, the NASDAQ closed 12.75 points (0.18%) lower, and the S&P 500 decreased by 5.94 points (0.23%) to 2,629.73. The Russell 2000 lost 8.36 points (0.54%) to finish at 1,546.56, and the Wilshire 5000 was down 245.06 points (0.89%) at 27,347.50. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 7/32, lowering its yield to 2.943%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 15/32, lowering its yield to 3.123%
