Tuesday, the Dow climbed 529.95 points (2.17%) to 24,995.11, the NASDAQ was up 15.63 points (0.17%) at 9,340.22, and the S&P 500 increased 36.32 points (1.23%) to 2,991.77. The Russell 2000 closed 45.52 points (3.38%) higher at 1,393.07, and the Wilshire 5000 gained 401.15 points (1.34%) to finish at 30,417.45. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 4/32, increasing its yield to 0.698%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 1 4/32, bringing its yield up to 1.435%.
