Wednesday, the Dow fell 164.62 points (0.48%) to 33,896.04, the Nasdaq was down 3.90 points (0.03%) at 13,299.74, and the S&P 500 decreased 12.15 points (0.29%) to 4,115.68. The Russell 2000 closed 17.24 points (0.78%) lower at 2,193.64, and the Wilshire 5000 lost 150.49 points (0.35%) to finish at 42,865.53.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 4/32, increasing its yield to 1.679%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 25/32, bringing its yield up to 2.375%.
