The Russell 2000 increased 32.59 points (1.87%) to close at 1,776.89 and the Wilshire 5000 increased 643.28 points (1.68%) to close at 38,908.02.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 31/32, bringing the yield to 3.690%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 1 28/32, bringing the yield to 3.807%.
