Thursday, the Dow rose 181.09 points (0.71%) to 25,720.66, the NASDAQ gained 40.08 points (0.53%) to reach 7,615.55, and the S&P 500 finished 17.34 points (0.61%) higher at 2,843.49. The Russell 2000 dipped 3.25 points lower (0.22%) to land at 1,503.54, and the Wilshire 500 close 148.60 points (0.51%) higher to end at 29,249.80. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 1/32, decreasing its yield to 2.129%, and the price of the 30-year Treasury bond was up 28/32, decreasing its yield to 2.620%.
