Wednesday, the Dow increased 69.86 points (0.23%) to 31,037.68, the Nasdaq gained 39.61 points (0.35%) to 11,361.85 and the S&P 500 climbed 13.69 points (0.36%) to close at 3,845.08. The Russell 2000 slipped 13.78 points (0.79%) to 1,727.55 and the Wilshire 5000 extended 52.88 points (0.14%) to 38,220.61.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 1 1/32 increasing its yield to 2.932%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond was down 1 8/32 increasing its yield to 3.134%.
