The Russell 2000 closed 10.16 points (0.60%) higher at 1,695.36, and the Wilshire 5000 dropped 64.97 points (0.22%) to finish at 29,570.72. The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 2/32, bringing its yield up to 2.984%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond grew 1/32, decreasing its yield to 3.102%.
