Friday, the Dow rose 2.51 points (0.01%) to close at 33,227.69, the Nasdaq fell 30.50 points (0.22%) to close at 14,032.81 and the S&P 500 rose 1.47 points (0.03%) to close at 4,536.34. The Russell 2000 lost 6.90 points (0.35%) to close at 1,960.26, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index lost 2.14 points (0.00%) to close at 45,873.56.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note rose 2/32, bringing the yield to 3.838%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond rose 24/32, bringing the yield to 3.902%.

For the week ending July 21, the Dow lost 3.71%, the Nasdaq lost 0.57% and the S&P 500 rose 0.69%. The Russell 2000 rose 1.51%, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index finished 0.75% higher the FT Wilshire 5000 Index lost 2.20 points (0.00%) to close at 45,873.44.
