Thursday, the Dow gained 224.44 points (0.91%) to close at 24,924.89, the NASDAQ closed 107.31 points (1.39%) higher at 7,823.92, and the S&P 500 increased 24.27 points (0.87%) to finish at 2,798.29. The Russell 2000 increased 6.61 points (0.39%) to 1,690.28, and the Wilshire 5000 gained 250.79 points (0.87%) to 29,234.45.   The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 1/32, increasing its yield to 2.850%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 4/32, bringing its yield up to 2.945%.
