Read more > Market Mirror Friday, the Dow fell 233.92 points (0.81%) to 28,634.88, the NASDAQ closed 71.42 points (0.79%) lower at 9,020.77, and the S&P 500 decreased 23.00 points (0.71%) to 3,234.85. The Russell 2000 was down 5.90 points (0.35%) at 1,660.87, and the Wilshire 5000 lost 199.00 points (0.60%) to finish at 32,943.20.   The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 30/32, bringing its yield down to 1.790%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond climbed 1 30/32, decreasing its yield to 2.248%.   WEEK’S WORTH: For the week ending January 3, the Dow was down 0.04%, the NASDAQ was up 0.16%, and the S&P 500 finished 0.16% lower. The Russell 2000 lost 0.49%, and the Wilshire 5000 decreased 0.10%.
