Monday, the Dow gained 254.07 points (0.76%) to close at 33,629.56, the Nasdaq gained 223.98 points (2.01%) to close at 11,364.41 and the S&P 500 increased 47.20 points (1.19%) to close at 4,019.81. The Russell 2000 gained 23.43 points (1.25%) to close at 1,890.77 and the Wilshire 5000 gained 502.45 points (1.27%) to close at 40,088.38.   

The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell 25/32, bringing the yield to 3.521%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 28/32, bringing the yield to 3.683%.
