Friday, the Dow was down 21.42 points (0.06%) at 35,089.74, the Nasdaq climbed 219.19 points (1.58%) to 14,098.01, and the S&P 500 increased 23.09 points (0.52%) to 4,500.53. The Russell 2000 closed 11.33 points (0.57%) higher at 2,002.36, and the Wilshire 5000 gained 358.83 points (0.80%) to finish at 45,243.67.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 7/32, increasing its yield to 1.916%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 1 3/32, bringing its yield up to 2.220%.

For the week ending February 4, the Dow was up 1.05%, the Nasdaq climbed 2.38%, and the S&P 500 increased 1.55%. The Russell 2000 finished 1.72% higher, and the Wilshire 5000 gained 1.90%.
