Yesterday, the Dow closed 229.29 points (0.76%) higher at 30,211.91, the NASDAQ gained 332.70 points (2.55%) to finish at 13,403.39, and the S&P 500 increased 59.62 points (1.61%) to 3,773.86. The Russell 2000 was up 19.55 points (0.93%) at 2,126.16, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 677.65 points (1.72%) to 40,073.82. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 1/32, increasing its yield to 1.076%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 26/32, bringing its yield up to 1.848%.
