Friday, the Dow surged by 337.27 points (1.22%) to reach 28,015.06, NASDAQ rose by 85.83 points (1.00%) to 8,656.53, and the S&P 500 gained 28.48 points (0.91%) for a 3,145.91 close. The Russell 2000 gained 19.00 points (1.18%) to finish at 1,633.84, and the Wilshire 5000 rose by 281.08 points (0.89%) to end at 32,039.01. The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell by 3/32, increasing its yield to 1.841%, and the price of the 30-year Treasury bond was off by 28/32, increasing its yield to 2.284%.   WEEK’S WORTH: For the week ended December 6, the Dow edged downward by 0.13%, the S&P 500 ticked upwards by 0.16%, and the NASDAQ was off by 0.10%. The Russell 2000 gained 0.57%, and the Wilshire 5000 ever so barely rose by 0.04%.
