Friday, the Dow was up by 248.74 points (0.83%) for a 30,218.26 close, the NASDAQ took on 87.05 additional points (0.70%) to reach 12,464.23, and the S&P 500 was up by 32.40 points (0.88%) to end at 3,699.12. The Russell 2000 gained 43.75 points (2.37%) to reach 1,892.45, and the Wilshire 5000 rose by 398.71 points (1.04%) for a 38,704.22 finish. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 6/32, increasing its yield to 0.970%, and the price of the 30-year Treasury bond was down 1 31/32, boosting its yield to 1.739%. WEEK’S WORTH: For the week ended December 4, the Dow was up 1.03%, the S&P 500 gained 0.85%, and the NASDAQ rose 2.13%. The Russell 2000 was up by 2.00%, and the Wilshire 5000 was up by 1.70%.
