Thursday, the Dow closed 28.01 points (0.10%) higher at 27,677.79, the NASDAQ ticked up 4.03 points (0.05%) to 8,570.70, and the S&P 500 gained 4.67 points (0.15%) to finish at 3,117.43. The Russell 2000 was virtually unchanged at 1,614.83, and the Wilshire 5000 increased 29.99 points (0.09%) to 31,757.94.   The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 3/32, increasing its yield to 1.808%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 28/32, bringing its yield up to 2.257%.
