Friday, the Dow rose 294.61 points (0.82%) to close at 36,245.50, the Nasdaq rose 78.81 points (0.55%) to close at 14,305.03 and the S&P 500 rose 26.83 points (0.59%) to close at 4,594.63. The Russell 2000 rose 53.62 points (2.96%) to close at 1,862.64, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 394.52 points (0.86%) to close at 46,295.42.

The 10-year Treasury note rose 32/32, bringing the yield to 4.205%. The 30-year Treasury bond rose 1 8/32, bringing the yield to 4.388%.

For the week ending December 1, the Dow rose 2.42%, the Nasdaq rose 0.38% and the S&P 500 rose 0.77%. The Russell 2000 rose 3.05%, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index finished 1.18% higher.
