Thursday, the Dow gained 220.75 points (0.79%) to finish at 28,132.05, the NASDAQ was up 63.27 points (0.73%) at 8,717.32, and the S&P 500 closed 26.94 points (0.86%) higher at 3,168.57. The Russell 2000 increased 12.89 points (0.79%) to 1,644.81, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 257.81 points (0.81%) to 32,259.25.   The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 30/32, bringing its yield up to 1.895%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 2 0/32, increasing its yield to 2.319%.
