The Russell 2000 rose 1.47 points (0.08%) to close at 1,958.94 and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 371.16 points (0.82%) to close at 45,677.11.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell 4/32, bringing the yield to 4.092%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 1 1/32, bringing the yield to 4.269%.
