Monday, the Dow rose by 269.93 points (1.05%) to reach 25,898.83, the NASDAQ was up by 101.97 points (1.32%) to 7,853.74, and the S&P 500 gained 31.27 points (1.10%) to close at 2,878.38. The Russell 2000 gained 16.52 points (1.13%) to reach 1,476.00, and the Wilshire 5000 took on 307.30 additional points (1.05%) for a 29,461.42 close. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 0/32, increasing its yield to 1.538%, and the price of the 30-year Treasury bond was down 24/32, increasing its yield to 2.039%.
