Wednesday, the Dow gained 39.24 points (0.11%) to finish at 35,405.50, the Nasdaq closed 22.06 points (0.15%) higher at 15,041.86, and the S&P 500 increased 9.96 points (0.22%) to 4,496.19. The Russell 2000 was up 8.36 points (0.37%) at 2,239.27, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 121.89 points (0.26%) to 46,685.34.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 5/32, increasing its yield to 1.346%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 8/32, bringing its yield up to 1.954%.
