Thursday, the Dow fell 290.91 points (0.84%) to close at 34,474.83, the Nasdaq fell 157.70 points (1.17%) to close at 13,316.93 and the S&P 500 fell 33.97 points (0.77%) to close at 4,370.36. The Russell 2000 fell 21.46 points (1.15%) to close at 1,850.06 and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index fell 373.25 points (0.84%) to close at 44,050.96.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell 2/32, bringing the yield to 4.284%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 27/32, bringing the yield to 4.390%.
