Monday, the Dow rose 26.23 points (0.07%) to close at 35,307.63 the Nasdaq rose 143.48 points (1.05%) to close at 13,788.33 and the S&P 500 rose 25.67 points (0.58%) to close at 4.489.72. The Russell 2000 fell 4.62 points (0.24%) to close at 1,920.49 and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 224.51 points (0.50%) to close at 45,313.98.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell 3/32, bringing the yield to 4.195%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 5/32, bringing the yield to 4.290%.
