Wednesday, the Dow increased 289.93 points (1.05%) to 27,976.84, the NASDAQ climbed 229.42 points (2.13%) to 11,012.24, and the S&P 500 gained 46.66 points (1.40%) to finish at 3,380.35. The Russell 2000 was up 8.15 points (0.52%) at 1,583.25, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 461.91 points (1.36%) higher at 34,525.86. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 2/32, increasing its yield to 0.667%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 30/32, bringing its yield up to 1.364%.
