Thursday, the Dow climbed 240.92 points (0.99%) to 24,505.22, the NASDAQ closed 34.45 points (0.49%) higher at 7,076.55, and the S&P 500 increased 18.15 points (0.69%) to 2,662.84. The Russell 2000 was up 11.26 points (0.74%) at 1,542.93, and the Wilshire 5000 gained 197.97 points (0.72%) to finish at 27,618.66.   The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 6/32, increasing its yield to 2.830%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 21/32, bringing its yield up to 3.072%.
