Tuesday, the Dow fell 809.28 points (2.38%) to 33,240.18, the Nasdaq dropped 514.11 points (3.95%) to 12,490.74, and the S&P 500 dipped 120.92 points (2.81%) to close at 4,175.20. The Russell 2000 was down 63.73 points (3.26%) to 1,890.47, and the Wilshire 5000 decreased 1,272.23 points (2.95%) to 41,817.36.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 11/32 decreasing its yield to 2.729%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond was up 1 1/32 lowering its yield to 2.833%.
