Wednesday, the Dow increased 456.94 points (1.99%) to 23,475.82, the NASDAQ climbed 232.15 points (2.81%) to 8,495.38, and the S&P 500 gained 62.75 points (2.29%) to finish at 2,799.31. The Russell 2000 was down 11.82 points (0.97%) at 1,201.52, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 626.12 points (2.28%) higher at 28,059.81. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 5/32, increasing its yield to 0.614%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 1 26/32, bringing its yield up to 1.214%.
