Wednesday, the Dow gained 249.59 points (0.71%) to close at 35,160.79, the Nasdaq was down 166.59 points (1.22%) to finish at 13,453.07, and the S&P 500 fell 2.76 points (0.06%) to 4,459.45. The Russell 2000 climbed 7.42 points (0.37%) to 2,038.18, and the Wilshire 5000 dropped 192.26 points (0.43%) to 44,774.78.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 30/32 bringing its yield down to 2.848%. The price of the 30-year Treasury note increased 2 3/32 decreasing its yield to 2.876%.
