The Russell 2000 increased 14.15 points (0.80%) to close at 1,786.59 and the Wilshire 5000 increased 44.10 points (0.11%) to close at 40,640.06.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell 1/32, bringing the yield to 3.431%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond rose 1/32, bringing the yield to 3.627%.
