Wednesday, the Dow gained 80.63 points (0.33%) to finish at 24,585.43, the NASDAQ closed 13.48 points (0.20%) higher at 6,875.80, and the S&P 500 decreased by 1.26 points (0.05%) to 2,662.85. The Russell 2000 increased 8.33 points (0.55%) to 1,524.45, and the Wilshire 5000 was up 6.97 points (0.03%) at 27,626.81.   The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 18/32, bringing its yield down to 2.345%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond climbed 1 0/32, decreasing its yield to 2.727%.
