Wednesday, the Dow was virtually unchanged at 27,492.56, the NASDAQ decreased 24.05 points (0.29%) to 8,410.63, and the S&P 500 was up 2.16 points (0.07%) at 3,076.78. The Russell 2000 closed 10.07 points (0.63%) lower at 1,589.54, and the Wilshire 5000 was down 19.10 points (0.06%) at 31,332.44. The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 26/32, bringing its yield down to 1.820%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond was up 7/32, decreasing its yield to 2.307%.
