Tuesday, the Dow gained 431.72 points (1.77%) to finish at 24,874.64, the NASDAQ closed 111.36 points (1.58%) higher at 7,161.65, and the S&P 500 increased 41.38 points (1.57%) to 2,682.63. The Russell 2000 was up 29.33 points (1.99%) at 1,506.64, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 441.57 points (1.62%) to 27,669.64. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 9/32, increasing its yield to 3.119%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 14/32, bringing its yield up to 3.357%.
