Tuesday, the Dow was up 237.44 points (0.89%) at 27,024.80, the NASDAQ climbed 100.06 points (1.24%) to 8,148.71, and the S&P 500 closed 29.53 points (1.00%) higher at 2,995.68. The Russell 2000 gained 17.87 points (1.19%) to finish at 1,523.30, and the Wilshire 5000 increased 298.54 points (0.99%) to 30,524.24. The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 25/32, bringing its yield up to 1.769%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 29/32, increasing its yield to 2.229%.
