The Russell 2000 was up 17.07 points (1.11%) at 1,550.65, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 204.19 points (0.67%) to 30,506.51.
The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 7/32, bringing its yield up to 1.730%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 1 29/32, increasing its yield to 2.181%.
