Yesterday, the Dow lost 767.27 points (2.90%) to finish at 25,717.74, the NASDAQ closed 278.03 points (3.47%) lower at 7,726.04, and the S&P 500 decreased 87.31 points (2.98%) to 2,844.74. The Russell 2000 shed 46.25 points (3.02%) to close at 1,487.41, and the Wilshire 5000 fell 907.22 points (3.01%) to 29,213.68. The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 1 1/32, bringing its yield down to 1.729%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond climbed 2 28/32, decreasing its yield to 2.271%.
