Tuesday, the Dow lost 178.88 points (0.72%) to finish at 24,834.41, the NASDAQ was down 15.58 points (0.21%) at 7,378.45, and the S&P 500 decreased 8.57 points (0.31%) to 2,724.44. The Russell 2000 fell 12.20 points (0.75%) to 1,625.24, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 138.64 points (0.49%) lower at 28,360.04. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was unchanged, with its yield up to 3.060%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond was down 4/32, increasing its yield to 3.209%.
