Wednesday, the Dow gained 115.97 points (0.45%) to finish at 25,648.02, the NASDAQ closed 87.65 points (1.13%) higher at 7,822.15, and the S&P 500 increased 16.55 points (0.58%) to 2,850.96. The Russell 2000 was up 5.21 points (0.34%) at 1,548.27, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 171.38 points (0.58%) to 29,471.37. The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 10/32, bringing its yield down to 2.377%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond climbed 19/32, decreasing its yield to 2.820%.
