Wednesday, the Dow lost 141.71 points (0.55%) to finish at 25,745.67, the NASDAQ was up 5.02 points (0.07%) at 7,728.97, and the S&P 500 was down 8.34 points (0.29%) at 2,824.23. The Russell 2000 decreased 11.83 points (0.76%) to 1,543.16, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 97.03 points (0.33%) lower at 29,200.52. The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 25/32, bringing its yield down to 2.531%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond climbed 1 5/32, decreasing its yield to 2.968%.
