Tuesday, the Dow increased 9.36 points (0.04%) to 24,884.12, the NASDAQ gained 41.30 points (0.56%) to finish at 7,372.01, and the S&P 500 was up 7.18 points (0.26%) at 2,728.12. The Russell 2000 closed 16.16 points (1.04%) higher at 1,562.20, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 100.92 points (0.36%) to 28,284.61. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 1/32, decreasing its yield to 2.880%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 4/32, bringing its yield down to 3.149%.
