Tuesday, the Dow fell 254.63 points (1.01%) to 24,964.75, the NASDAQ was down 5.16 points (0.07%) at 7,234.31, and the S&P 500 decreased 15.96 points (0.58%) to 2,716.26. The Russell 2000 closed 13.56 points (0.88%) lower at 1,529.99, and the Wilshire 5000 lost 149.99 points (0.53%) to finish at 28,187.63. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 2/32, increasing its yield to 2.881%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 11/32, bringing its yield up to 3.152%.
