Wednesday, the Dow was up 115.84 points (0.40%) at 29,348.03, the NASDAQ climbed 84.44 points (0.87%) to 9,817.18, and the S&P 500 increased 15.86 points (0.47%) to 3,386.15. The Russell 2000 gained 9.05 points (0.54%) to finish at 1,692.57, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 170.85 points (0.50%) higher at 34,534.02. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was unchanged, with its yield at 1.568%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond was down 1/32, increasing its yield to 2.014%.
