Wednesday, the Dow climbed 275.08 points (0.94%) to 29,551.42, the NASDAQ closed 87.02 points (0.90%) higher at 9,725.96, and the S&P 500 was up 21.70 points (0.65%) at 3,379.45. The Russell 2000 increased 11.86 points (0.71%) to 1,689.38, and the Wilshire 5000 gained 232.32 points (0.68%) to finish at 34,403.27. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 3/32, increasing its yield to 1.636%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 6/32, bringing its yield up to 2.091%.
