Tuesday, the Dow gained 102.80 points (0.41%) to finish at 25,385.80, the NASDAQ was up 6.19 points (0.09%) at 7,163.58, and the S&P 500 increased 3.58 points (0.13%) to 2,751.29. The Russell 2000 decreased by 1.71 points (0.11%) to 1,560.10, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 40.43 points (0.14%) higher at 28,543.95. The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 18/32, bringing its yield up to 2.546%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond fell 1 13/32, increasing its yield to 2.882%.
