New Portfolio Models on ModelxChange
Mid Atlantic Trust Company and Northern Trust rolled out a suite of Northern Focused Portfolios (NFP) model portfolios on Mid Atlantic’s ModelxChange platform.
Reported by John Manganaro
Designers calibrated the NFP models for a range of investment styles and objectives, said Eric Schweitzer, managing director of Northern Trust’s direct intermediary distribution business.
Models include active, passive and blended investment products created through weighted asset allocations of proprietary and non-proprietary mutual funds and exchange-traded funds, all of which seek to emphasize competitive performance while managing volatility and risk.
The investment models can now be utilized by Mid Atlantic’s 12,000 retirement plan advisers and their clients.
Schweitzer said the NFP models’ diversity and focus on risk management will benefit advisers, sponsors and plan participants.
