Nationwide Signs President for Two of its Broker-Dealers

Nationwide Financial Network (NFN) has named Michael Hamilton as President of two of its broker-dealers, 1717 Capital Management Company and Nationwide Securities Inc.

Formerly President of Penncorp Life Canada, Hamilton will also serve as vice president of retail distribution for NFN, a retail distribution business affiliate of Nationwide Financial Services, Inc., according to a press release about the appointment.

“Nationwide Financial Network will play a major role in providing consumers with Nationwide Financial’s broad product and service offerings, including investment, protection and retirement income solutions,’ said Keith Millner, President of Nationwide Financial Network and the In-Retirement business segment, in the press release.

Prior to Penncorp, Hamilton served as a divisional director and senior vice president for the Southeast region of Jackson National Life, where he also served as a divisional director and senior vice president for the Midwest region.
